Along the Shwegyin River, which is located in the Myanmar region of the same name, an impressive dam was built to exploit the hydroelectric potential of the watercourse. Thus, a large reservoir was formed, inserted in a forest still largely untouched.
The river has always been rich in gold, but the extraction activity inside the artificial lake was too dispersed and difficult. The local communities have therefore decided to buy an equipment to make the extraction more simpler and profitable.
Our solution
Through our local distributor we have provided one dredge model DRH85/160E22, easily transportable even in the most remote areas. We have equipped this dredge with one HY85/160 hydraulic pump, completed with two hydraulic cutters and water jets system, to lift material from the bottom of the lake, where the gold coming from the river is settling
