Description:
A Colombian alluvial gold mine required to dredge sand, gravel and sludge along the surrounding channels with the purpose of getting the necessary depth to allow boats navigation.
DRAGFLOW supplied a hydraulic dredging unit composed of one hydraulic slurry pump HY50 and one mono cutter head DTM50. This unit has been attached to the boom of a Caterpillar amphibious excavator.
The excavator hydraulic system drives the Dragflow dredging unit as a normal hydraulic attachment / tool.
